Eight scumbags, four Manhattan pharmacies.

BASTARDO, manager of the Coral Pharmacy, paid the Medicaid beneficiaries a fraction of the total reimbursement value of the prescriptions ... and pocketed the difference.

Apparently you can also get a Medicaid card for the bargain price of $560. With a name like Bastardo.. No wonder NYS uses up so much cash in Medicaid.

I have a cousin who used to be in charge of Medicaid fraud cases in NYC (before becoming a prosecutor under Guiliani). He told me a story about chasing a Doctor with a station wagon full of files across Manhattan. It ended with the car being driven off a pier.
