Starts tomorrow night. How much will you watch?
I expect I will see quite a bit as I will be visiting my mother this week. Not much else to do there. :-)

I'm not sure. I haven't really watched any of this stuff in years, but I suspect we'll watch more this time around.

I don't own a TV.

I can't remember the last time a party convention had any point other than to be a massive "rah rah" show, which is pretty dull. Speeches don't interest me. I'll pass.

I will probably watch Obama's speech, maybe Hillary and Biden's as well. Maybe.
I'll undoubtedly watch the Daily Show every day this week, though :)

This is the best part of the convention so far. (http://www.crooksandliars.com/2008/08/24/fox-news-gets-a-little-freaked-out-by-convention-protesters/)

I'll only watch it to see Clinton unleash her army of flying monkeys as she cackles "FLY, YOU FOOLS!"

I got about 10 minutes into Pelosi's opening speech last night and gave up on watching any more last night. I didn't realize what a completely incompetent public speaker she is; that was just awful. The Dems should be thankful that almost nobody saw that since the networks are only covering an hour of this a night, which is pretty pathetic. Can't preempt Deal or No Deal for something as inconsequential as the presidential election!

Put me down for as much of it as I can. Yesterday I got to see the really excellent speeches by Jesse Jackson Jr, Caroline Kennedy, Teddy Kennedy, Michelle Obama and her brother. I also saw a very exasperated Hillary Clinton press conference where she was obviously irritated with everyone trying to phrase "So are you going to try to steal this?" in slightly different ways. She came out extremely strong in favor of Obama.

I try to keep away from all the pomp and just stick to actual position statements, etc. I prefer to read transcripts of speeches than to hear them delivered.

I thought I would watch it but C-span is back to back speeches which is boring me to tears and CSNBC is not enough speeches and too much commentary. There's no good in-between option.

Watch the interesting speeches on CSPAN, and flip over to MSNBC (or whatever) between 'em?

Yeah sure maybe in some future world where someone invents some kind of way to control your TV remotely or something. Yeah right!

It's just a pep rally. I never planned to watch any of it. What's the point?
