Looks to be making its name as the YouTube of fan made game highlight reels, the service allows you to upload videos of many formats to convert to flash video, much like any other. Here's the part I found kind of novel, linked through Bungie.net (http://www.bungie.net/News/content.aspx?type=news&cid=15200):
Over the weekend I played with a very cool tool from video host GameVee (http://www.gamevee.com/). It's called Grab (http://www.gamevee.com/grab), and it will pull saved videos from the console hit Halo 3 and deliver them to the cloud where they can be replayed without the need of local hardware or Halo software.
Typically to watch these videos you must first find and download them through the in-game video browser, then run them in the game's replay engine.Takes about an hour after you fill out the grab request before the automated system lets you know when the video is available under your account. Here's a Rocket Race clip (http://www.gamevee.com/viewVideo/Halo_3/GeeVee/Killing_Frenzy__Rocket_Race/664606) I have tested this Grab service with, since I'm always yammering on about how much I love that game mode.
It will be interesting to see if they can get this feature folded into other titles that have Saved Films and Replays (Duke XBLA, etc) as it amounts to what I assume to be a series of scripted hardware events run on their end. As long as your files are posted on a system with public access and the game engine supports the replay, I don't see what would limit the service.
