"Controversial"? Unsurprisingly, someone at Kotaku is nuts.
It is hilarious and awesome and I'm glad to see someone at EA has a sense of humor.

I thought it was cool and all but I don't believe that EA called up Tiger Woods and paid him untold amounts of money to film a video to pwn someone on YouTube. I think it's a brilliant viral marketing ploy. This video will get shared all over the internet in the coming weeks and it's amazing advertising for the game.
But I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if the guy who posted the glitch on YouTube originally works for EA marketing.

I saw this on another forum, but it's pretty hilarious. I bet that kid was shitting his pants when he first saw the response on Youtube.

I don't think it's unlikely that a lot of people will interpret this commercial as some kind of allusion that Tiger=Jesus, which could cause some outrage.

If it's viral it means they've been prepping this undercover agent for about two years.

I loved it. They probably have Tiger on contract X number of comericals so it wasn't lke they dragged him out just for this. I just kind of wonder when they did this considering he was just in surgery.

That was awesome. EA is learning.

It does seem like that, especially since the guy talks about how awesome the game is right up front. But if so, it was in the plans for a loong time...
In any case, I thought this was great.

I searched but couldn't find a single local Fox news clip about it.
