So I want to play around with the US iTunes Store for research purposes apparently what I need is a false US address and an iTunes giftcard instead of the US credit card I obviously don't have.
I'm impatient and cheap, so I dont want to pay overprice for it on ebay.

So my question is if someone trustworthy would do me the favour and buy a $30 giftcard. I could send the money via Paypal.

I don't think this is illegal (breaking region coding isn't in this country) and I certainly have no moral qualms, since I'm just circumventing rules in order to buy stuff or rent a movie.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I don't think that's going to work. A couple of years ago, I bought a gift card in Vancouver, in hopes of using iTunes from the Philippines. Unfortunately, redemption of the gift card required an iTunes Canada account, and opening an account required a Canadian address AND a Canadian credit card. Cards from other countries are rejected outright. (I'm not sure about US credit cards, but what American would want to sign up for Canada's crippled iTunes?)
