Tom:

Check your PM inbox, since that's the only other avenue lowly forum users have to contact you.

Would it be better to just have a captcha (sp?) and a few questions in a form (what's your gaming background, etc, like the registration FAQ says), and delegate approvals to more than one person?

I have about two dozen account requests (well, 17 to be exact) that I have to go through and catch up on. The forum was effectively closed down for nearly two weeks because of the server move, and there are still bits that aren't working yet. I'll try to knock some of them out of the queue tonight.

Heh, I put it in to refresh my memory after playing so much GTA4. Man, parts of it really don't hold up well. But the parts that do...

If only there was some way to marry Saints Row's gameplay to GTAIV's city and driving physics! Why, God, why? Why must you taunt me so?

I was wondering about that too, actually. I saw you were playing SR and figured you must have been doing a comparative article of some sort. It's a little creepy that we can see what other people are playing through the friends list, frankly.

Disconnect the network cable before playing any Barbie games. Problem solved.

It'll pop up on your gamercard's "last five" on xbox.com once you reconnect -- unless you cycle through a bunch of stuff.

And yeah, I finished up Saints Row last week after finding a cheap used copy. I had more fun getting the last few SP achievements left after I finished the story than I had during the first 5 hours of GTA4.

Thanks, hombre. I always feel a little silly when I ask a friend to join the board and he doesn't get approved for a week. :(

Whew, I finally made it online. Thanks Kunikos.

Now I'm off to start the 17 list threads I've been waiting to post for the last three weeks.

Could you post a few tutorials on how to properly rip and encode videos with an obscure software suite? I'd really like that.

Sorry I had to decline the Worms invite Moore. My girlfriend suddenly said "I want to try a game with you!" and I started her with Worms. Sucks Uno doesn't have same screen co-op play somehow. I guess you'd have to turn away from the screen or something.

The Marble Madness game was more her speed. I forget the exact name . . . something from Popcap. Then it was Assault Heroes, which she seemed to like. Woo hoo gaming with a non gaming girlfriend!

I stopped reading after you said you were playing Worms with your girlfriend. That's about all that needs to be said ElG. Rock on.
