I can't believe what Bill Clinton is saying now, complaining of a cover-up by the press over his wife's chances.

"Clinton also suggested some were trying to "cover up" Sen. Clinton's chances of winning in key states that Democrats will have to win in the general election.

" 'Oh, this is so terrible: The people they want her. Oh, this is so terrible: She is winning the general election, and he is not. Oh my goodness, we have to cover this up.'

"She is winning the general election today and he is not, according to all the evidence," Clinton said. "And I have never seen anything like it. I have never seen a candidate treated so disrespectfully just for running."

He is being so tenacious about all this. I think he wants it more than Hilary does. Maybe he does look at it like another eight years for him at the helm.

What really bugs me is the insistence the Clintons have on counting Michigan's votes in this mythical overall tally of votes. How can they possibly count those when Obama's name wasn't even on the ballot? Is there any sense of fairness there?

It's all part of the Vast Left-Wing Conspiracy.

This is why I am SO glad Hillary is not gonna be President. It's the old "repeat a lie enough and people will believe it" approach to politics.

I've heard comments here and there that Bill is worried that, if Obama gets the White House, Bill will be yesterday's news. I don't think he likes the thought of not being the Rock Star of the Democrats.

I thought for a minute that this thread was covering some legislation in congress involving perpetual whiners. I was kinda bummed when it's just another Clinton thread.
