Eye of the Beholder for GBA - wha?

I don't understand, that doesn't look like Eye of the Beholder to me at all. No on screen portraits, none of the character graphics look the same and since when did it have gold box style combat? Is the only thing they kept the plot? I don't remember it being stunning.

And why does the preview keep saying "cobold"?

it's a rehash based loosely on the original game, but with more AD&D gold box-ish combat
