Today's NYT had an article (in the Circuits section) about the Everquest Fan Faire, which is some kind of festival of scariness that happened last week. I notice that they had to find someone dressed as an elf, because everyone knows elves sell newspapers. Here's the online version.

Today. At Gen Con. I saw five elves. One had crossed eyes. I'll look for more tomorrow.

No, no, Sandy Petersen is a guy.

He created Chaosium's Call of Cthulhu RPG.
Then went on to work on Sid Meier's Civilization, then Doom and Quake, then moved on to Ensemble to work on Age of Empires, Age of Empires 2, and now Age of Mythology.
