Sounds like Avault.
Anyway, these Planet sites are a part of Gamespy, right? What's with VideoGamespot editors Gerald Villoria and Shane Satterfield writing reviews over there all of a sudden?

Dear planetgamecube:

I really feel I am fully qualified to work for you, for free, utilizing my fluent Japanese, stylistically sophisticated English, flash experience, photoshop chops, and nose for Nintendo news. It would be a great honor to have my byline next to Rick Powers' on your site and to be privvy to the release dates of Nintendo's marquee 2003 titles, including Super Smash Brothers Whack Attack, Mario Party 6, Luigi Party 1, and Donkey Kong Monkey Ball Melee.

In summary, I think I have what it takes to write for planetgamecube: ample free time, cable modem access, no sex life to speak of (now or on the horizon), no rashes that can't be covered by my clothing, and a desire to play 3 of the top 800 games released every year. Hire me.

Sincerely,

Tom Ohle

I'd apply just so I could expand my GameCube game collection beyond the three games I have now ;)

Planet Gamecube is NOT a Planet site of the Gamespy network. It's its own entity and yeah, I think it's pretty silly of them to ask for resumes and act like this is a job when they're not going to pay dick.

When people work for you for free, you get what you pay for.

Specifically, you get someone without the talent or experience to get PAID for doing what you want them to do.

I think they stole this out of Erik's Resume.

Well, I guess if you were in high school or college and just wanted to get some writing experience it wouldn't be so bad. At least then you'd have something to put on a resume. I mean, it's a crappy fan site, but it's one that gets a lot of traffic, so I guess that's good when you're trying to get your picture on the Gamespotting page...

I kinda know the feeling. My poor little GBA has but one game to played on it. I thought I was going to get more, somehow, but I don't remember how that was, now, Tom... :)
