Tiger Woods 08 - did it ever get fixed?

I can't find the old TW08 thread, so here's a new one.

The swing controls in the 08 demo - and the final game from what reviews said - were pretty broken. Did this ever get patched, or should I just buy 07 if I'm interested in a 360 golf game?

A friend of mine had the following experience (http://www.joltcountry.com/features/the_replay_that_changed_history01.html) with the game, which opens the door to all kinds of broken. I can't imagine them calmly and rationally fixing everything wrong with 08 when that kind of nonsense is going on.

I can't remember if TW 08 was the last year it was being done at EARS or the first year at EA Tiburon. Either way, it explains a lot.

07 is very good. We actually had a few QT3 multiplayer matches last year.

Let me chime in to say that the swing controls in 08 are -completely- broken on the 360, and I have no idea how any reviewer could give the game anything higher than a 5/10 given that the game is basically unplayable.

So you're using the 7-9 scale? Cuz completely unplayable would be like a 1 in real life.
