I just realized that I haven't used Live in months because I've been busy with school. I still play games on my 360 every weekend, but I never log into Live. I'm guessing it's been 3 months or more now (and I'm paying for this shit!), but one of my gamerfriends would know better than I.

How long have you gone without getting online? If you don't use Live or own a 360, you can give similar stories for WoW subs, etc. Anything that you pay for but don't use.

I always log on to check for demos and new stuff. It's part of my startup sequence check list.

I seem to get addicted to one thing after another, and for the last 2 months it's been my PC. Before that I was on a binge of Crackdown, Test Drive Unlimited and skate...

2 months on, 2 months off.

Maybe a couple of weeks in the summer, just after the Halo 3 beta.

Couple months post-Burning Crusade launch. I did give Lost Planet the college try one cold January weekend(awful game IMO), but it was back to WoW and a shelved 360 soon after. Once I hit 70 though, my 360 regained plenty of attention.

Really though, it's my PS3 and Wii that are fighting for electricity abuse. Every 3 months I play a major Nintendo release that slowly justifies it's purchase, but the PS3 practically is serving my Blu Ray queue from netflix.

Probably about 3 days.

About 2 months, during the summer, had way too much going on.

months and months and months. I don't play online, so I only log in when I hear there's an update.

I went on a streak where I didn't log in for a month or so during the summer since there wasn't any game releases at the time. According to 360voice, I've logged on the last 39 days straight though.

About a month when my 360 was in the shop. Beyond that, a week..maybe.

If my 360 is on it's online. So even if I'm not playing a game, I might be streaming videos to it or my girlfriend is playing Catan or something.

However long it takes MS to ship me the replacement for my most recent dead 360.

I auto-login when I turn the console on. If you mean actually played an online game in live, then I've never done that yet.

How's "never"? :D

IT depends on my wireless. When at my last home I had great coverage in the house. As it stands now though I have to go through the "Would you like to troubleshoot your connection?" dialog every time I want to sign in. That puts a big damper in how often you actually want to do it.

Once I have my cable run complete though, I don't see where I will ever sign off save for shutting off the console.

Probably about 3 days.

I need to adjust this estimate. Just more than 1 month, while I was waiting for my broken one to be fixed.

Lets see, when my 360 was in for repair, I still went over to a friend's place on the weekend to play, so that doesn't bring up the longest I've gone.

Back in September I took a 3 week vacation with my family and we went to the Smoky Mountain National Park. Yes, I did take my 360 with me so we could play Tiger Woods and other games in the motel room at night, but I wasn't signing onto Xbox Live at all during those three weeks.

10 weeks. Just came back online for the update so I could stream Divx and get rid of my xbox as my media player in the bedroom.

I don't keep it plugged into the network because I have to run a long cable to it and I have cats.

I recently moved to a new apartment, one that doesn't have an Internet connection (or even a freaking cable jack or landline). So, it's been like 6 months since I've been online!

If you're strictly meaning "turn on the 360 but don't log in", then never. Of course, it doesn't get turned on every day (http://www.360voice.com/tag/Kryten%20NZ) :p

Ditto for me. I tried to play some co-op Crackdown with Squeaky but the bitch never replied.

About six months, I think. However, I don't actually pay for Live when I'm not using it. When a good multiplayer game comes out AND a few of my friends get it AND it looks like we'll actually be able to hook up and play I buy a 1 month, prepaid, subscription card. The subscription inevitably lasts longer than any of my friends' desire to play the game, and then I revert back to Silver status until another halfway decent game comes out.

I still haven't bothered to get the most recent dashboard update. It's too much trouble to track down an unused, live ethernet cable and plug it into the Xbox.

I also use prepaid cards for other subscription services like WoW. I like having to actively do something to keep my subscription live rather than having to remember to cancel if I'm not going to use the subscription for awhile. I hate paying for time I'm not going to use. If I know I'm going on vacation for a week, I'll put off resubscribing to WoW until I get back from the vacation, even if it means going nearly 60 days without a subscription.

I've easily gone several months between turning the XBox 360 on.

There was that couple of years between when I sold my old Xbox and bought a new 360. Wasn't on Live much then.
