I need to get a PSP game for my sister. (Christmas) She's a uber casual formerly non-gamer who happened to like The Sims. She already has The Sims for PSP. Any ideas?

Oh, I thought you meant games for nuns. Bummer, I had a few in mind.

Puzzle Quest as mentioned above would be my vote.

Lumines is the only game worth playing on PSP. I was never a fan of Puzzle Quest.

My local Toys R Us has had Lumines II marked down to around $11 for a while. Maybe you can get lucky and find it at yours.
Puzzle Quest or Lumines would be great. Ignore the PQ haters.

Puzzle Quest. It's the best game on the PSP.

Thrillville (I think there are 2 versions on PSP) has that no-combat, simmy vibe.

Females seem to like playing Loco Roco.
That is a fact.
Just accept it.

Yes, my female friend stole my PSP because of Loco Roco.
That and Lumines are my suggestions.

I would recommend Loco Roco, definitely.
Plus, the game Beats was just released to the Playstation Store. It's a rhythm game (ala Guitar Hero, DDR, etc.) that uses your own mp3s (on the PSP's memory stick). The best thing about it is it's only $5.00.

Puzzle Quest for sure.
I can't get my bride to stop playing Final Fantasy: War of the Lions but she's not a typical female (whatever that is), maybe your Sister isn't either.
puzzle quest isn't nearly as accessible for a non-gamer as people on this forum would have you believe.

Disgaea & Valkyrie Profile: throw her in the deep end!
Puzzle games are the safe gateway drug for newbs: Lumines, Puzzle Quest (only $15 now (http://www.amazon.com/D3-Publisher-11003-Puzzle-Quest/dp/B000GH3PYK/ref=pd_bbs_sr_3?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1197388580&sr=8-3)), Me & My Katamari, etc. So are mini-game-type collections (e.g, WTF). Hot Shots Golf and Virtua Tennis are good "casual" sports games. The PSP version of Harvest Moon isn't great, from what I've read, but if it's her first exposure to the series she might like it; there's also the scifi version of the franchise, Innocent Life.

i handed over my psp with crush to my sister-in-law over thanksgiving and i didn't get it back until after dinner (excepting the occasional spot in a level where she got stuck).
