Since when are the slavs from Siberia? Mongols maybe.

Exactly. There weren't any Slavs in Siberia ten thousand years ago. Hell, there weren't many Slavs there 300 years ago. Even the Mongols weren't "Mongols". It's easy to forget how recent "civilization" is.

None of the normal Old World racial/ethnic typologies mean much if you go back that far in any case. Geographically speaking, Siberia is Asia, and this genetic analysis certainly doesn't rule out common ancestry for both Native Americans and East Asians; in fact it reinforces it since it works against the Polynesian hypothesis.

Once you get to that sort of time scale, ultimately, we're all African.

And all games are pong.

A US genetic study bolsters claims that Native Americans are descended from one migrant group that crossed a lost land link from modern Siberia to Alaska -- not waves of arrivals from Asia, as rival theories say.

Siberia is in Asia.
