I don't think I've ever plugged this Podcast/Radioshow, and I suspect the people of Qt3 may dig it.

One Life Left (http://www.onelifeleft.com) started its third season last week, meaning there's two episodes to catch up on. It's a general videogame show, but done with actual (semi) professional finish (i.e. It's more than just people rambling about games, with regular features and correspondants and similar) and actually broadcast on FM on London's Resonance FM station.

I also get slagged off at length in last week's episode by the ever-lovely Simon Byron, so that's always good.

Do you all speak in delightful cockney accents?

They do indeed. And the theme music is great.

I downloaded a few episodes and gave a listen. It was an okay show but I prefer the Game Theroy podcast. Its hard to tell what the difference is, Game Theroy seems more focused on topics and the opinions about those topics, which One Life Left felt more just like listening to people chat.

Or it could just be a personal preference thing, there definiotly isn't anything wrong with One Life Left and I wouldn't adivce anyone against downloading a few episodes and giving it a listen. It just didn't seem as professional as what I was used to.

You are clearly a clueless douchebag. Or not English.

Awesome podcast, thanks Kieron!

Why can't it be both?

I've been listening to parts of this podcast since it was recommended, and it's pretty bad. But, that's not really the important part. Anybody who listens to it could tell you it's directionless, poorly informed, performed and boring. I'm here to pose a question: Which one of these quotes is from the Nov 13th, 2007 "One Life Left" podcast and which is from the Nov 9th, 2007 "1Up Yours" podcast?

"So, uh, I won't go into exacting detail, because these rumours haven't been confirmed, but they're definitely swirling around. They're probably going to break next week. So a preview of what we might be seeing next week. A big Microsoft first party title that's been in the works for a long time and people are very excited for sounds like it's been canceled.
And a Microsoft executive who's pretty high up who's been a voice for the company sounds like he's on the way out."

"How, uh, how solid are these rumours?"

"I'd give these rumours like a 97% chance"

I'll wait for the RPS podcast to debut. GfW and Gamers with Jobs are in my rotation, but I'd love a PC game centric podcast that actually talks about PC games somewhat regularly.

Hmmm, my bad. I guess dry British humor is to parrot an entire portion of one podcast so you can make a joke about "97%" for the rest of your show?

There's one thing the rest of the world says about Americans, is that they don't get irony, which I roll my eyes at because - y'know - look at the best American comedy, etc, etc.

And then you post something like that. You're breaking my heart, man.

Unlikely. We'd just talk about how bad a healer Walker is or something, knowing us.
