List of Hollywood notables who have given political donations, and the recipients: http://www.wilshireandwashington.com/2007/10/hillary-clinton.html

Not surprisingly, 99% of the donations are to Democratic nominees, but it's interesting to see which candidates are supported, and when. Lot of Clinton donations (including from Rupert Murdoch, and she's the only candidate he's contributed to, which is interesting) and fair number of Obama ones (and a bunch of Obama, then Clinton, perhaps reflecting changing allegiances as polls favour Clinton, or just spreading around donations at different times). It's more interesting to see who is supporting non-front-running candidates as well.

The studio heads are interesting, because they have actual political power, but I'm not sure why the rest matter.

Movie stars in politics are bad, unless they are running as a Republican.
Then they are AWESOME!

You can find this information on your own by searching the FEC website (http://www.fec.gov).

It's just an interest piece, in case you're curious who actors and other celebrities you like or dislike are supporting.

It's also conveniently in one short listing, although you could spend a few hours looking them up on your own, as Raife indicated.

Interesting how the black people contributed only to Obama. Or maybe not so interesting.

Got any sites listing goofy-ass cults celebrities are members of?

I know I decide which movies to see based solely on the political affiliations of the actors involved!

Oh wait. That's not me...that's my dad. Never mind.
