I spent an amusing couple of minutes with this while I was avoiding work.
Of course NeoGAF doesn't fare any better than QT3.

It's because we failed to condemn Imperial Japan, duh.

It's got to be the tentacle rape discussions.
Way to go Wumpus and Rimbo.

Actually, that's a good call. Rimbo's webcomics were too horrible for the PRC.

We need to stop bashing poisoned imports again?
I thought that Rimbo's webcomics would go over well in CHina it has to be a Koontz related ban. Even from beyond the ban does Koontz effect us.

I call bullshit. When you test for greatfirewallofchina.org, it always fails to connect. Clicking on the same URL in the cloud shows the last time it was found available in China, was in January.
So if their own site is blocked in China, how do they get the test results out of the country? In real-time, I mean.

Yeah, a couple of minutes of experimentation failed to find any sites that worked, including .cn sites...

Worked for me too in May-June. I think your test site is broken or trying to trump up censorship in China.
It worked from both Shanghai and Beijing.

I'm highly dubious if this is working.
Reason 1:
This version, 1.0 may report sites as being 'blocked' while there are only technical reasons for their unavailability. Read the about page for more info.
Reason 2: www.zombo.com is blocked. Not even a communist would block zombo.com.

This site is not blocked from China! I think that test server is overprotective. I'm starting to get discouraged from all the China paranoias.

"Anything is possible...... at Zombo.com!" Still makes me LOL to this day. :)
It also says www.worldofwarcraft.com is blocked. I also call bullshit.

The last 60 results for google.com show that it's blocked for crying out loud.

Upon further investigating, even www.dirt.com is blocked...
