Not that I'm particularly aware of how each team is doing except one at the moment, but I feel obligated to cheer for these teams for various reasons.

Arsenal FC, English Premier League.
Cal, NCAA Football.
Cal, NCAA Basketball.
North Dakota, NCAA Hockey.

Folkestone Invicta, Isthmian League. Kind of.

Raiders because my late aunt loved them so much. Bengals because I'm a Carson Palmer fan from his USC days. Saints because they had a lot against them. Any Pac-10 team because ESPN can't seem to figure out that there is more to (NCAA) life than the SEC and the ACC.

No NFL team here, so I always ended up supporting the 49ers and Broncos because for some reason they were the teams that seemed to be on every Sunday.

Aresnal and for some reason the Dallas Cowboys. I guess it's because I spent the year in New Mexico in 75.

Green Bay Packers just because I like Brett Favre - and the Detroit Lions usually suck... wait... they ALWAYS suck.

Cleveland Browns because when I began watching the NFL in the mid-80's while living in Montana everyone was a fan of the Bronco's.

Cleveland Indians because they used to really suck and it was an underdog thing because, well, it's Cleveland.

Blue team. Red always beats me in Rocket Race.

Green Bay Packers because of the history of the team, and the fact that a fan-owned team in a small community do well against the billionaire-owned greed-driven teams.

In the lesser known sport of American Le Mans Series sports car racing, I'm a big fan of the Flying Lizard team out of Sonoma CA. Got hooked on them because they really go out of thier way for the fans.

When it comes to hockey in Toronto, it's hard to watch other teams because Leafs games are really all that's regularly broadcasted. And even though I'm so fucking frustrated with the Leafs, it's hard not to cheer them on.

Yeah, I cheer for the Leafs but I love the Pens (going way back to the Barrasso days and cup runs) and my closet full of Toronto practice jerseys will soon be joined by a Pittsburgh one. I also have a soft spot for any of the original six and all Canadian teams except for Ottawa.

Tottenham Hotspur (E.P.L.) - the anti-Ars*nal (thppt!)

Pac-10 football vs. anybody else - for the reason already mentioned by Lorini

Scotland

Anyone vs. Raiders or Yankees

Me and the Portland Trailblazers go way back. Sure, I'm from Toronto and I love the Raptors, but I also have a bizarre affinity for the Blazers. So please don't talk to me about Greg Oden.. it makes me sad.

The Colts because I grew up being a HUGE Marino fan and the 'fins played them twice a year back in the day. Got to see Manning progress and become the superman he is today. Then Dungy left my local team and became their coach. LOVE.

Especially once Marino retired (er, Dave ran him out of town), the Colts really became my team.

Tough watch last week, since the Bucs are my local team. I didn't know who to root for! :)

Washington Capitals. What can I say I have a soft spot for shitty teams.
