I just finished Bioshock, and apparently no other good games are coming out for awhile. Give me some thing light, fun, and free to fill the time.

Dwarfen fortress will fill your time quite efficiently :P

I haven't played DF, but I doubt it is light.

Depths of Peril seems pretty fun, as an innovative Diablo clone, if you like that sort of thing.

But it's not free.

You really ought to check out Dwarf Fortress. It's not light but it's the best game I've played in months...and that's including Bioshock. :P

Check out Teewars (http://www.teewars.com/). It's multiplayer-only though.

Well Beautiful Katamari is mid next month, and Mercs 2 and Fallout 3 aren't until next year.

I've actually posted a few times over the past couple months.

I think what they are saying is learn to like better games.

Either that, or play the obsession of the moment which only fits his criteria in the most basic of ways.

I see you are saving money until November :)

Some games that may or may not interest are Puzzle Pirates and Bang! Howdy.
They're pay-optional. Paying gives you some stuff to help you along. There's
basically one item you need to purchase in Bang! Howdy which lets you then
gain access to just about anything, with patience. Interesting turn-based game, anyway.

Do browser-based games like Nanaca Crash (http://www.quartertothree.com/game-talk/showthread.php?t=17148&highlight=nanaca), or anything at www.ferryhalim.com, count?

There's also the web-based version of Peggle.

If you're cruel, try Stair/Truck Dismount (http://jet.ro/dismount/).

Sierra released Betrayal at Krondor as freeware, right? I doubt that counts as 'light', though.

Cool site. Is it legit? I mean have you used it and not gotten spyware or had hidden fees and such?

Also, that Master of Defense game looks really good. I wish I hadn't missed out on the freebie!

Survival Crisis Z (http://www.totallyscrewed.net/newsite/games.htm). Kind of a cross between GTA and a zombie invasion game. Plays a lot better than it looks.

Yeah, it is legit. The idea is they act as a marketing site for the devs/pubs. The free offer is for 24 hours only, and they advertise other games on the site.

I have been snagging stuff from there for months. Master of Defense is one of the better tower defense games. I currently have all three RIP games, Jets 'n Guns, some Zuma like games all installed from there. No spyware at all, no hidden fees. Once you download and activate the game it is yours until you uninstall or reformat. The one kicker is, if something happens (format, uninstall or something unforseen) you don't get the game for free again. They don't offer any support and no backups. It will only activate in that 24 hour window. Great little site.

This was made especialy for you, extar (http://www.vx4.com/strategy-games/eva-4-dating-simulator-game.html)

It's free and, as an added bonus, might help the other issues!

Balance is screwy, but allow me to second this vote.

Also check out Blood Zero... if you can find it. It used to be on the Ska Software page, then vanished. So then they linked to it from their forum, which then went under, so then someone asked about it on the new forum, and got spammed to death... I don't know why it isn't front and centre, it's one of their best games and the full version was made free some time ago.

Neat, I talked to someone from another forum about it , but wasn't sure if the site was legit.
