I'd be curious to know how much this "competitive eating" decreases your life-span. Seems fanastically unhealthy, but maybe no more than that of a WWx wrestler.

I could never attend one of those events in person, because every time I see them crowning the winner of an eating competition on TV I feel an overwhelming desire to run up and punch him in the stomach as hard as I can even though he'd probably die or, at the very least, spew undigested hot dogs all over me as soon as my fist made contact.

But in my fantasy, he explodes like a decaying whale carcass packed with explosives and I dance like Rocky for 2-4 minutes afterwards.
