ARgle Blargle Need New Laptop

So my ancient Dell Inspiron 5100 with a 2.4 Ghz P4 (not mobile!), 1 Gb ram, and 64 mb ATI Mobility Radeon 7500c has suddenly started to only occasionally recognize both DIMMs, so methinks it is time to get something new. I'd like something that can still run EVE and Guild Wars, but still be reasonably light. Has anyone purchased a laptop capable of decent performance without weighing a ton that they can recommend?

Actually I highly doubt that there are any laptops at all.
