I walked past a truck today, who's company logo looked *exactly* like the mind-altering, colour-pallet-changing, floating-tetrahedron alien device from this game... and it made me realise just how wacky and awesome CornCob was.
I mean, it had amazing depth for a flight-sim... flying a WW2 fighter against invading Aliens, being able to jump out and control your plane by remote control, a persistent game-world which included UFOs that'd randomly bomb your home airfield, a mission involving an airfield floating at 30,000ft, force fields, tractor beams, teleporters...
Obviously, the game had it all.
But... my question to you all is... did the expansion for it exist? After flying the cool stealth fighter at the White Sands facility, blasting off into orbit, and learning that the expansion would include mission on low-g worlds and other such excitement... did it ever actually come out? No amount of trawling through abandon-ware sites has led me to it...
