So far I've come up with the first vertical line of glyphs:

|(Up/Down) For all?| |The Time| |Our| |Civilization| |Grow| |On| |(|) This?| |Planet| |Of| |(*=) We Have/Had? Ours?| |There| |Journey/Travel| |(Into Box) Into?| |Cosmos|

Which I'm paraphrasing into:

(For all) of time our civilization grew on this planet (we had / of ours), and there we journeyed (into the) universe.

I still have my old notebook from Ultima IV in which I wrote down lots of stuff in Brittania runes. I was a pretty nerdy 11 year old.

What the heck. Sent in my entry. I wouldn't be surprised if they allow for multiple winners since the prize is just getting a NPC with your name, e.g,, "Sgt Bloo".
