I may be going home, but you bastards are stuck here forever muahahaha. (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20061210/ap_on_re_mi_ea/iraq) Seriously, bad enough he masterminded this unwinnable clusterfuck, but what other reason aside from monstrous cruelty could he have had for going there?

At least he didn't start singing:

"Can't get enough of yo' sweet love, baby...."

Perhaps he went there so he could bash open the heads of the soldiers, suck their brains from their craniums, and feed their entrails to his demonic overlords?

His last act as outgoing SECDEF is facing the troops he sent over there. That's no more montrously cruel than it is heroic, it's just his job.

Wow. I am not a fan of the guy by any means, but going to say goodbye to the guys he sent over? Letting them know he still believes in their mission? That he did what he did because it is what he believed?

That makes him cold-blooded heartless bastard? Um… okay.

Wouldn't ignoring them as unimportant and not having the nerve to face them one last time been a little bit more of a heartless bastard?

Even though I know this whole thread was a setup, I am infuriated that you indeed found a way to make me agree with Uncle Larry. I will make you pay for this.

Alternate thread on Qt3: Rumsfeld: One cold-blooded, heartless bastard, he never even said "Goodbye" to the troops he sent to this unwinnable clusterfuck.

Be honest, girls, there is nothing Rumsfeld, or this administration, can, or could, do, not even in the smallest detail, that you would not find fault with, you (most) are still whining over the "stolen" election, the election that Al Bore lost fair and square.

Get over it.

well he did resign...so that would be at the top of list of things he did right.

Nonsense! There's at least one more good thing the Bush administration can do:

End.

They could invent a time machine and go back to make sure the war was never started, then in that newly created timeline Bush could refuse to run for re-election. So yeah, there's two things.

Pshaw, if the Bush administration invented a time machine, we all know they'd go back and edit all those tricky bits out of the constitution and the bill of rights.
