Yes, I'm sure that the part that was conveniently omitted would make what she said sound far more reasonable.

Reasonable certainly doesn't mean right, but I tend to expect a full transcript when I'm told I'm getting one; I don't think that's unreasonable.

The first paragraph really hits the nail on the head:
Rep. Marilyn Musgrave (R-CO), the lead sponsor of the constitutional ban on gay marriage in the House, spoke this weekend at the Family Research Council’s “Values Voter Summit.” (Other virulently anti-gay speakers were featured at the event.)
So a leader of anti-gay sentiment is speaking on anti-gay issues to an anti-gay crowd. What did anyone expect her to talk about. Unemployment?

Honestly, and I know that this may sound strange, but I have to agree 100%.
