Sexy Beast redux

Watched Sexy Beast again. I’d forgotten about Don Logan’s little soliloquies in the mirror while he shaves. I’d also forgotten how the whole subtext played out that he didn’t just come to Spain to enlist Gal, but he came because he was in love. I think it was Bub who said Ben Kingsley was superficial, which is just insane. What an amazing amazing performance to anchor a character-driven heist movie.
