I am looking to buy a piece of PC hardware for a family member based in the UK and am having problems finding an online vendor that accepts non-UK credit card billing addresses.

I have already tried the usual suspects e.g. PC World, DABS without success. Amazon UK accepts non-UK billing addresses but unfortunately their selection is very limited.

Does anyone know of any UK based online PC hardware vendors which accept non-UK credit card billing addresses?

Last time I wanted to do this, I ended up buying something here, throwing a travel plug in and shipping it myself.

Naturally, won't work on some things...

Have you tried http://komplett.co.uk/k/k.asp?
They're actually a Norwegian (Scandinavian?) store, and I know Irish people
who order from there.

Thanks for the replies. Unfortunately, the Komplett UK site only accepts UK billing addresses. They have other online stores in other countries but none accept Canadian addresses. Ah well.

Shopping online for people in the UK didn't used to be this difficult so I suppose vendors have had to crack down on fraud.

Another family member will be coming over in October for a short visit so I may buy the hardware here and have them take it back to the UK when they return.
