Of particular interest, a (or yet another, if you feel that way about it) version of Far Cry. I think this is the first of many shooter ports to the Wii.
But Wii is still a stupid name.

This news rocks. Best launch ever for the best system ever. Seems fitting.

I hope these do for the Wii what that Capcom 5 did for the Gamecube!

Considering we don't even have the launch date, should we expect them to commit to launch itself? Anyway, I'll be happy if all seven have come out within a year of launch; it wouldn't be surprising if we lost one or two.

It all looks bad, though. The 'Capcom 5' was way better and, as has been pointed out, was kind of a joke.

That would be fine, but then you shouldn't have all the news sites crowing about 7 Launch titles if they aren't, or you have no way of knowing.

RE4 rocked.
VJ rocked.
Killer7 rocked.
PN 03 was mediocre, but good if you like that old-school kind of game.
The last one, Dead Phoenix, was canceled, but, um, it looked like it would've rocked.
Granted, games one through three ended up also on the PS2, eventually or immediately, but that kind of wavering won't stand on the Wii, which will need unique versions.
If there's any reason to worry, it's because of crappy Ubi ports like Splinter Cell for the DS.
