How many people here like or LOVE Rick Springfield? I've recently been getting into his music within the last 2 weeks. I love his 80s songs, and now I'm discovering his songs from the 70s. Some of them sound like they should've been written and sung in the 1960s, but they're catchy and cool. One song I'm currently into is "Free And Easy." I wonder if this song got any radio play at all, becasue it'd be perfect for an oldies radio station. What do you guys think of this song?

I for one LOVE Rick Springfield! I've recently been getting into his music within the last twenty-six years. I love his 80s songs, but not his songs from the 70s. Some of them sound like they should've been written and sung in the 1960s, but they're nothing compared to his songs from the 80s. One song I'm currently into is "Blowjob Betty," by Too Short. I doubt this song got any radio play at all, becasue it'd be perfect for an oldies radio station. What do you guys think of this song?

I love his music too. I've actually forgotten about his music for years now. Recently, a couple friends reminded me about Zappa becuase we were all listening to his music in his car. One of the songs that was playing in the car was "The Black Page." Prior to that time, i had no idea that Zappa did that song until my friend told me that. So I'm curious do you guys like this song or not?

I just heard their album, Stadium Arcadium. It's pretty awesome. Since I don't own it yet, I've been listening to the entire album on Napsterlinks.

Halle Berry was in B.A.P.S. (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0118663/)

You can click on the link above, and enter your email address to hear all the full length songs.

that's just crazy. I'd rather listen to DLR's msuci from Napsterlinks becasue at least, he's doing a lot better than what was presented in the video. BTW: What was the title of the song?
I don't know him that well, but a couple of the songs I've heard are good. I was listening to the Rhino Hi-Five album on Napsterlinks, and it's good. It's nice to be able to listen to a full length album online, on Napterlinks before purchasing it.

The best of the best; When qT3's resident viral marketer could only muster middling praise for the filth he was paid to push...

Well I'm kinda confused. But I always thought they were together, but did separate things. And just to clear up the subject line from what I read on the link posted. it sounds like they didn't break up ever.. Kevin just decided to leave the band, and the band will continue without him. I think whatever they want to do is cool. I've known them since "Everybody" came out. They were good, but it's not like I'm going to listen to their music every second of my life.

Wha...? How do these bots work. The workings of this dang Internet thing befuddle and confound me.

When the software switched over, for some reason, it activated every single account (*most* new accounts don't get turned on because no one read the 'You have to email me to get switched on' post). Otherwise, Mr. McNeil wouldn't have been able to post.

So you guys out there hear that? If you've got a pre-switch account, it's enabled now! :)

Apropos of nothing, there are some really fantastic Rick Springfield songs out there. There are hipsters out there who claim to be Tommy Keene fans, and it's impossible to dig one and not the other.

I've always been a closet Rick Springfield fan. Great pop songs with catchy hooks. Shame he hits his wife, though...

Shame he hits his wife, though...

Really? When did he stop beating his wife?

Seriously, I hadn't heard that, and have been a fan for some time. My wife was a BIG fan, and she stopped watching Sean Connery films after it came out in an interview that he didn't have a problem taking a hand to his wife when necessary.

"Rick Springfield won't be prosecuted for allegedly assaulting his wife because she doesn't want to press charges, Reuters reports. Springfield was arrested last month on suspicion of spousal abuse. ..."

You know what Rick Springfield's wife did after she returned to the couple's home after the report that he beat her?

The goddamn laundry if she knew what was good for her.

Did you see how she was dressed? She was obviously asking for it.

So this bot gets an account, then it scans thread titles looking for artist names and when it finds one, posts a message in the thread that ends with a link to napster, or else starts a new thread with such a post... That's fiendish. I wouldn't have realized what it was if Mike Soafer hadn't spotted it. Good thing I'm not on the Turing Commission!

How long have these things been around?
