Can't seem to pull trigger on new PC

I browse and browse tigerdirect.com and dell.com, and just can't make up my mind how to proceed. My computer died, I believe it's the mobo, but everything was getting old (IDE hdd, radeon 9600 vid, 512mb of RAM) so I want to get a new middle-of-the-road pc for gaming, cheap.

I can get a barebone case, ps, 939 socket with a 3500 OEM chip, 512mb of RAM for 190. Put 150$ on top of that for a GeForce 7600 video card, and another 90 for a legitimate copy of Windows (Hi Bill!). That's 430$, I've got the rest of the bits and pieces already.

If you were in the same situation, what would you buy?

When I saw this from the main page, it just said "Can't seem to pull trigger on..." and I honestly expected it to be about another country developing nuclear weapons and failing to launch them for a test.
