I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with any products such as Rogaine or things similar to it. If you've used (or are currently using) anything like that could you let me know if it worked and if so how well it worked. Basically was it worth the money.
IF you go Rogaine, and IF it works for you, you will be applying Rogaine to your head for the rest of your life (or until you come to terms with it and decide, "Ah, hell, I'd rather be bald.")
Just shave your head and wear your baldness proudly.

Good friend of mine uses Propecia, and it's working like gangbusters for him. He didn't already have a bald pate or anything, but his heair was visibly thinning prior to use. It took about a year or 2, and now he has more hair than when I met him 9 years ago.

Rogaine and Propecia work for some folks, but only work for guys with thinning hair on the top/back of the head (crown baldness). If it's pattern baldness (receding hairline) shave your head or come to grips with being bald.

Really? I wasn't aware of this distinction. So, if you are getting both, would using these products stop one but not the other?

Don't they both screw up your sex drive?

Bald is hot. Receding hairlines, also hot.
My ex bf uses Propecia and it works really well for him. My dad used Rogaine for years and it worked great while he was on it. He went off and within months, he had a shiny bald spot on the back of his head.
I have a group of about half a dozen bald friends who refuse to use any hair loss product because they fear being in the 2% that experience impotence or low sex drive.

But, also, they are hot, right? So they don't need to take that chance when they have a girl like you reminding them of how hot they are ;).

Yeah, just shave it or pick an out-there hairstyle (5 foot mohawk!) that's specifically compatible with the loss.

What I recommend is growing out the sides of your hair to extreme lengths, and then "combing it over" your bald spots.
Looks great, chicks dig it, and no one will ever know you're bald!

Yes the patent on the combover expired so you can use it freely now.

Naw. You need to keep the front short where it's thinning but be sure to grow the back long.

Friend of mine started using Rogaine a few years ago. Didn't give him loads of hair or anything, but it did stop his thinning on top pretty nicely
Yeah bro just grow the sides out like I do.
