It's a trick.

Lou Ferringo(or however it's spelled) is just out of sight helping him.

LF! The REAL Hulk!

I like how they state he can press 2000 pounds, but show a video of him pressing 1000 pounds. Have faith!

He was only using one leg.

He was only using one leg.

I bet his other leg is weak.

Thats not a proper leg press as his knees are nowhere near a 90*. Doing that is like doing girl push-ups, plus hes pushing his knees with his hands.
Ronnie Coleman is the hulk, not this guy.

Yeah. Pushing 2,000 pounds a small way up a barely elevated ramp? Ridiculous. Let's see a 2,000 pounds squat or deadlift, then we'll talk!

He's pretty spry for a seventy-six year old!

It is strange how they say 2000 but then show 1000. I can't imagine he actually does 2000 pounds, without some help. He was really huffing to get 1000 lbs in the air.

Isn't it about time for Gawd to call him home?

So he claims to have beaten the FSU leg press record by 665 pounds? Okay.

He's in the news again, so this was obviously a successful stunt. Though stupid.

Can you say Bullshit? Not on broadcast TV! His goons in the FCC made sure of that.

I cant remember the exact weight, but Ronnie did 8 reps of around 2250 on a legpress (the max weight of the machine), but can only squat 800 for 2 reps (his 4th set). That shows how much easier it is.
800: (yes, the bar is bending)

Pat presses 200 of it. God does the other 1800 pounds.
