...they have some contest thing here at E3 with Geometry Wars. I must have had to tell at least sixteenthousand guys what game the guy was playing when he cracked 2 million near show closing tonight. WTF?! Don't the people who come to E3 ever read about games at all?

A surprising number of attendees are clueless about games and gaming culture; it's like they get all of their information from press releases.

That is not surprising if it's true that the show is meant to be for retailers and not consumers. If someone is a buyer for a large retail chain, I would not expect that person to be knowledgeable about gaming culture.
