That is awesome. Partly because it reminds me that I've got so many better things to do than play high-level content in WOW, but mainly because the dude's really funny. And that stuff is real? Really?
BTW, I understood most of it, but what are whelps? And why the picture of Orlando Bloom?

Whelps are little baby dragons that attack you en masse at certain phases during the Onyxia encounter. It's possible to accidentally break some of the dragon eggs and spawn even more of them, which is a big raid no-no.

Awesome! The last one I heard from the same guy was fantastic as well. I cannot, however, remember the link. I'll see if I can find it.

Who would put up with that shit? Is this represenative of WoW play?

We have a few people in our guild who get very heated and angry at times, usually when people fuck up and it leads to an uneccessary wipe. But nothing to that scale. Some people just get carried away running their sad little virtual empires, I guess. It does make you wonder who would put up with that shit, though. I would have /gquit immediately.

The WoW guild I was in shattered because of this sort of thing. Our old leader stepped down, so the new one implemented Loot Council and minimum mandatory raid hours per week.
It was straight to hell from there.

Wait, so this was like recorded off a teamspeak server or something? For real? Because I'm totally down for paying $15/month so some angry guy with an accent will yell at me about "throwing more dots".

I presume so; TS is extremely easy to record from. And the fact that you don't hear anyone else talking suggests that he has the TS channel moderated (only he can talk on it), thereby adding to his dictatorial traits.

That took me back to my Marine Corps days. The commands were different but that's pretty much how tank commanders and platoon leaders lead their troops.

DKP = Dragon Kill Points. You accumulate points by attending raids, killing bosses, etc, then "spend" them when loot drops. I think most serious raiding guilds run DKP systems, but not all (mine doesn't).
Yeah, my guild laughed their arses off at this - but in all honesty a guy shouting like that at any of us wouldn't last a minute. Not sure why his guild stands for it :)

I remember thinking this when I was addicted for about 9 months to COH: it's just weird that the worst part of MMO's is the other people. Other gamers are the absolute frickin' rake.

Well, that's why finding a good guild is so important. I really like most of the people in my guild, and even the ones who irritate me provide some amusement. It's all the community I need, and I very rarely interact with anyone from outside the guild.

Thank God the guild I played with (The Basin) never had anything close to that. We did generally have radio discipline, in that it was very hard to coordinate 40 people in a raid with everyone chatting on TeamSpeak, so we pretty much limited it to listening to the leader during most parts, except down time. Come to think of it, in DAOC the standard for large (100+ persons) raids at least was for only group leaders to actually talk in any channel, typed or otherwise; I wouldn't hold it against the guy in these clips for that bit.
But the rest, my God.... I mean, I've blown my top in raids (a ML 3 that I didn't get credit for because of some chat channel foul up in DAOC comes to mind) and I've been in raids where the leader has let loose an expletive in frustration, but in those cases he's always cooled down quickly and apologized, and in the Basin at least the leaders made herculean efforts to smooth things over when some of the more gung ho type got frustrated at us mere mortals.
If I was in a raid where this happened, I'd be out of there before you could say O RLY.

I heard the audio first and didn't think the swf added much to it. It's just a bunch of poorly drawn obvious jokes with a few extra "wacky" random pictures added in. Hey was this on Adult Swim or something?

Plus, the minus 200 DKP is that much more threatening than the 50 DKP minus.

The fact that you have not included an image macro in your post and that you have so badly butchured Leroy Jenkins' name leads me to believe that you are certainly lying.
Also, because it's so much funnier if I pretend it's true.

Leeroy was pretty obviously staged. I'm not so sure about this one.
I remember my first (and last) MC raid fondly. Our guildmaster started drinking at the first boss, and by the time we were to the third boss or so, he was singing over Teamspeak. He sounded in his mid-30s.
And then there was the 30-something Jersey guy that just chanted "DIG IN. DIG IN GUYS. DIG IN!" once a boss got down to like 40%. Very awkward and sort of homoerotic since the first (and worst) time he did this chanting ritual was on the big puppy in MC -- and since I was a Warrior, I had a view of the puppy's gaping anus as I spammed MS and Zerker Rage.
Dig in guys. Dig in.
I dont think its staged, the Finnish guild leader guy I mean. Jenkins was staged obviously.

So the Leeroy Jenkins one was the one in the rookery with all the dragons in UBRS. Which one was the movie where the master looter was also screaming out "LEEEEEEEEEEROOOOOY JEEEENKINS" before ninja'ing all the loot from a boss and people screaming on teamspeak, and the guy hearthstones and starts throwing snowballs at random people in Ironforge?
Also speaking of anal guild/raid leaders, anyone heard of a notorious hunter called Avatar? Apparently he authored one of the best guides for the hunter quest that gets you Rhok'delar and Lok'delar, but is also a known guild leader asshole.
