My guild is attempting to put together a low level (10-19) battlegrounds team. We want fast and easy team fun, where people don't have to play for months to catch up to higher level member. We also think that this may be an effective guild recruiting tool.

Two questions:
1. I want our team to be able to effectively rush a flag, and book ass with it away. How much crowd control, how much offense, and what else will we need? Are there any trinkets that can help us?

2. Our guild is pretty new and we are not made of money, so we won't be twinking with high level enchantments, but we still want to have competitive equipment. Suggestions?

I don’t know what server you’re on, but if you guys are playing on one of the older servers and don’t want to spend a lot of gold, my best advice to you would be to skip the level 19 BGs and instead play in the level 29 BGs. At level 19, the end-game enchants are absurdly powerful. They’re still overpowered at level 29, but they’re comparatively less overpowered, so you should encounter fewer twinks.

If you are horde side I would suggest farming RFC and WC and deck out your teams with whatever you can find there. Also get those low level enchants that people spam in Ogri for free. Depending on your server that should make you somewhat competitive.

I checked with some twelve year olds home sick from school on the WoW pvp forums, it turns out Shadowfang Keep is the place to go for level 19 blue items that bind on equip. There's an axe there that has 20.6 dps and procs a 60-90 damage shadowbolt. Not bad. So I can just run that solo and mail people stuff.

I think leatherworking's armor kits might be better than low level enchants. They also say that rogues and hunters are the best twinks.

Alliance side: tanks/rogues to run the flag, paladins casting blessing of freedom to keep them from snares.
