Anyone seen this 4 hour epic? Going to see it and wanted impressions and/or "things to look for." :)

Haven't seen it, but, as much as I was looking forward to it, the reviews are giving me more than second thoughts. A Battlefield Earth-like 9% on the Tomatometer. It's been blasted on all sides, even by reviewers who liked Gettysburg.

Apparently Maxwell went so far out of his way to imbue both sides with nobility that he makes it look as if the Confederacy wasn't really in favor of slavery.
