What's this Robota (http://www.apple.com/trailers/independent/dc_studio/robota/) all about (click on trailer II)? I know who Orson Scott Card is, but I haven't heard of whatever this is based on. And what's the deal with the sore-thumb anachronism with the pipe at the end? Is this something you sci-fi types have been chomping at the bit for, or is this another Final Fantasy Spirits Within deal?

Can't look at the trailer for another 15 minutes since I'm at work, but I did a quick IMDb (http://www.imdb.com/) search for the title and subtitle and came up with nada.

That's because Robota is not a movie. The trailer is hyping an upcoming graphic novel. Which seems weird, but whatever.

Ahh...that explains a lot. I have several friends in the CGI biz and I was surprised why I hadn't hear of it. Thanks.
