Huh? There are fires? ...Ah, looking at my calendar I see it's that it's that time of the year again. Lovely.

They are in the Malibu/Ventura area--- north and east of downtown... along the coast-- lots of hills and lots of people living in the hills--

They burn all the time...and since land is so expensive up there, i assume none of us, me included can afford the rent..:)

Unfortunately we are experiencing Santa Ana winds- it is 86 here at the beach right now-prob a bit warmer in the hillls and with the wind-these things grow fast.
