So I bought Band Of Brothers this week since I liked it so much when it was on HBO. Watched the first couple parts the other day and just sat down with some good food to watch parts three and four. But it's stuttering and skipping so bad it's unwatchable. I got it from Amazon and I know I can exchange it but I really don't feel like waiting almost a week.
Anyone have any suggestions? I'm thinking of heading over to Target tomorrow to exchange it but I'm not sure if it will work because I can't find the little advertisements that came attached to the outside of the tin(under the shrink wrap).
Geez, what a pain in the ass.

Lots of places will exchange something defective no problem. Walmart is actually really good about that kind of thing. I had a bad experience at a Best Buy trying the same thing though. When they rang it through the register they gave me credit for a sale price and then rang up the replacement at regular price and tried to get me to pay the difference. Uh, no. I argued with the girl about it and she did a price adjust and traded me strait across. Basically they seemed to be excessively computerized and I got someone on autopilot behind the register. So I wouldn't recommend trying them. But most places should be a problem. If it's bad, they don't care. All the stores just ship defects back to the manufacturer anyway.

Thanks for the Wal-Mart suggestion. I took it back there earlier today and exchanged it with no problem. I asked the lady if they have defect returns on DVDs very often and she said "Almost never, we get a ton of Playstation games, and some Playstation 2 ones, more than Xbox or GameCube."
Anyway, it took no time or effort at all. Other than the fact that I couldn't find the box set in the DVD section for about 30 minutes. I asked a sale associate and she just looked at me, then looked behind me at a huge display of them. Sigh, sometimes it hurts to be me.
