Anyone out there had any luck getting Talonsoft's old Campaign Series games (West Front, East Front, Rising Gold) running in XP? I can't seem to find any info on the net about it, and despite the clunky game system, I have a hankering for one of those long dynamic campaigns.

Risng Sun and East Front II are fine, but there are problems with West Front. I haven't tried the original East Front.

I'd love to play East Front II again. I always had a hard time finding it.

I can't get Rising Sun Gold to run; the set up screens work, but when it tries to load a scenario I get a crash to desktop. Switching compatability modes doesn't help. I found one random mention on the net of the need for FAT32 file system on my HD, while I have NFTS. Looks like I may be out of luck.

Well, it's apparently in stock at Amazon, (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00002SFLC/103-0154398-7737416?v=glance) but still going for $36.50...

Odd. I don't have the Gold version, but the vanilla version works fine on my Windows XP machine using NFTS. I have had problems with other games that people have said work fine in XP though. I have the gold version of Pharoah, for instance, and Pharoah works fine, but as soon as I load the Cleopatra add-in it stops working.
