I have a piece of telecom equipment that uses an external 5V, 4A AC power supply, which is outside the range of what you can get from Radio Shack. Anyone know where I might be able to find a selection of these? Google is mostly giving me industrial supplies (DC-DC, etc.) which isn't what I'm looking for.

Have you looked at a universal adaptable power supply? They come with a variety of jacks and can be configured to output whatever voltage and amperage you need. The downside is that they can be a bit on the pricey side.

4 amps is pretty high for what you'd find in a retail replacement power adapter.

Sweet, thanks! Well, at $24 it's cheaper than the manufacturer's official unit ($49), now I just gotta check to see if the tip is the right size (SO doubtful...but I'll give it a look). Thanks again!
