This guy is wanting some company.

Keep on reading the thread to see how his anger management skills go though. You'd probably want to just keep on peddling if he ever gets a flat tyre.....

I goddamn dare you to come to me face to face this way. I fucking well dare you.
Chickenshit poltroon.

What the hell is a poltroon?

What the hell is a poltroon?
Why, it's one of the best old-school Looney Toons insults ever, and it rhymes with another great, "maroon."

Wow, that was an A+++ meltdown.
I give massive respect to the dude who responded to pyschotouriste's (oh, so dated) "I'd kick your ass in the real world" stuff by posting his own name and address.
(hopes it isn't a troll, purely because that'd be funnier)

It can't be Derrek Smart there was no threat to sue.
It could be John Bolton though. Discovered 9/11, has a book coming out terrible temper it all adds up.

That's gotta be one of the faster thread degenerations I've ever seen. He went from 0 to Unglued in a half-dozen posts.

9-11 was caused by polite cyclists?
Don't discredit him so quickly, he might be on to something with this.

That's freaking hilarious. It's especially funny that nobody even said anything particularly offensive to set him off, and even after he starts raving, people keep treating him nicely. So you get posts saying stuff like "Sometimes internet sarcasm gets me down too... hope you find your cycling partner" interspersed with "I PRACTICALLY ENGINEERED 9-11 JUST TO BRING THE HURT DOWN ON YOU!" It's almost surreal.
Someone dug up the guy's online resume (http://www.tesall.com/resumes/index.pl?noframes;read=822). It's also funny...
"I am an American with the BA." (Apparently, there's just the one. Maybe that's why people who say that they have a BA in that NYT-class thing get ranked so high).
He neglects to mention that he is psychotic, though. That should be a bullet point. He could slide it in here:
"I have studied effective writing and I practiced it extensively."
...simply by citing a few examples of his work (such as his creative use of esoteric words such as "poltroon").

And here's (http://www.mondopolitico.com/discus/messages/441/2087.html?1113856060) his lengthy, elaborate description of how he knew all about the 9-11 attacks. Someone needs to get this guy and Cleve together in the same room.

I have to say, that post got me thru the last hour of work yesterday-I just sat in my cubicle and chuckled until it was time to go.
Troll? I just have a scary suspicion he was at least partially serious.
Great thread

Not specifically, but he did throw in some legal-sounding stuff:
It is not just this Mike R idiot. People like that have come along on every post I have ever put on the internet with their innuendos and libel.
I entered this forum with a perfectly decent, normal, post, and then people answered it with innuendo, libel, and accusation. I ask that you boycott this forum and the bastards that post on it and run it until they delete my post, membership, and all the replies that these petty criminals made.
He did use threats of physical violence, which are always fun and effective over the internet, but there were no promises to bend ribs or piss in anyone's mouth. Very ameteurish, really.

I also like the misspellings ("priviledge," although maybe that's the edgy kind of privilege, and "centurey"), and the helpful way that he points out that Barbara Bush was both married to the President and First Lady of the United States. How many people achieve both of those things? I'm guessing fewer than 50 people in the whole world.
And I like how his address has no number or street. Maybe Stuart, Florida is such a small town that they can just find him. Or maybe he's just so well known that "John Shaw, Stuart, Florida" is all you need.
When I first clicked on this thread and read the thing on the bicycling site, I immediately assumed it was a troll (although a very funny one). But now I'm not so sure--that's a pretty elaborate troll persona.
