I think its already been duscussed here. Basically, its good, but not great. Think The Two Towers with a D&D theme and more customization.

Worth mentioning, perhaps, that it's now out for PC as well as console ...

I was pleasantly surprised by it. It's extremely polished, has great graphics and sounds, and the same gameplay as the LotR beat em ups. I didn't quite finish it (there's a fight against a dragon near the end that gets ridiculous), but had a great time until I stopped.

I agree with Orpheo. Defintely a rental for most thanks to the lack of depth and short gameplay but very fun.
Atari really bungled marketing on Demon Stone. The FR license, story by RA Salvatore, excellent production values should have ensured it would get some notice but they dumped the PS2 version back in September and the other ports in November with little to no notice.

is this the 2-4 player game that has no multuiplaer at all?
I was stoked until I found it was singleplayer, wh9o the hell wants a 1player beat'em-up?
SINGLE DRAGON? sucko.

I've only played the PS2 version, but I thought it sucked. It's very easy to lose missions owing to your CPU buddies' amazingly dumbass AI.

Ah okay I was just thinking about the PC version and hadn't really heard much about it before.
I may get it, the EA game was fun.
