I'm glad Specter said what he did. I didn't vote for the guy here in PA but he's definitely one of the few Republicans that speaks out in a more moderate tone. I just wish he had kept his mouth shut til he was the head of the committee and then fought Bush to put more moderate judges into the game.
It definitely doesn't bode well for Roe v. Wade that these Republicans think they have some kind of mandated right to push their so-called "family values" on the rest of us.
I wish they'd all take a look inside their own homes before trying to tell me how I should run mine.
