Just curious if it's worth the effort to DL. I have been trying, but the servers must be chock full.

It crashes to the desktop every time I launch it from the main menu...

*sigh*

To be polite, it's a very flawed game. And for those of you who don't want to read much, it's not "fun".

Gameplay seems pretty straightforward, Age of Empires-ish. I didn't notice anything new or interesting.

The graphics are generally hideous, even nauseating at times. Some of the characters look ok zoomed out, but once you get close, and I wonder why they let you, they're super ugly. Bad models, bad textures, bad animation. Really bad animation.

Buildings are mediocre looking, but they construct nicely. Several models are swapped in during the process showing different stages of construction.

The interface is weak. You don't have to build houses, but your farms deplete without warning.

Missions are bad.

Cutscenes are done in-game, and done poorly.

And it isn't fun.

It doesn't crash on me, but it's dull. I thought, from a video I saw (or perhaps it was just a screenshot), that the game was going to be more in the Warrior Kings/Total War school--Braveheart without the bugs--but this appears to be a pretty standard RTS that just isn't much fun to play.
