It's been almost a year since I moved out here, but last night I think I had my first "LA moment": I pulled off the freeway and there was a guy on the corner selling balloon animal crucifixes. The best part is that I think he was cheating by just twisting 2 balloons together.

I would actually pay a bundle to have a ballon scultpure of crucified giraffe.

No animals included actually. I just used "balloon animal" to mean "long balloons all twisted up" :)

Damn it, James. You're in LA now. Walk up to the guy and demand he put a giraffe onto the crucifix. :)
