Its time again to update the posting totals and posting frequency of Qt3ers. This post covers the Top 50 in total posts, along with the change in their posts from the last report (2 months to the day ago), as well as the Top 50 in posts per day again with changes from last time.

For the Top 50 Qt3ers in Total Posts, I list the rank, then the person's name, then the total number of posts, then in parentheses are the previous rank, the number of posts the person has made since the last update, and then the number of posts the person made in each of the 5 previous 2-month periods (reverse chronological order). Qt3ers who have made 450 or more posts since the last update have their parentheses outlined in Blue, those with 300 to 449 are outlined in Green, those with 210 to 299 are outlined in Brown, and those with 0 to 50 are outlined in Red. UR stands for Unranked. ND stands for Not Determined. NQ stands for Not Qualified.

Qt3ers likely to enter the Top 50 in the October report: Ben

Jason McCullough breaks his streak of 6 consecutive 2-month periods with at least 900 posts. Tyjenks, Mark Asher, XPav, Ben Sones, DennyA, and Rywill, all Top 10 posters, ALL posted their lowest period totals in the 7 recorded periods.

In total posts between August 12 2003 and August 12 2004 Jason McCullough is #1 with 5705, XPav is #2 with 3280, and Midnight Son is #3 at 2673. It took 1215 posts to qualify for the Top 50 on June 12, 1075 posts to qualify on April 12, 979 on February 12, 813 on December 12, 688 on October 12, and 542 on August 12.

For The Top 50 Qt3ers in Posts Per Day (minimum 232 posts), I list the rank, then the person's name, then the overall posts per day, then in parentheses are the previous rank, the movement made in posts per day from the last update, and the movement made in posts per day in each of the 5 previous 2-month periods (reverse chronological order). Nah, I just think it proves that you don't have a job that allows 4-6 hours of message board reading/posting per 8 hour workday ;-)

You are in the exact same position I was in last time these stats got posted, a fairly new account with a heavy dom2-related posting volume. Just keep up the dom2 games and the AARs and you too can be in the top 10 next time.

I'm not sure why being in the 10 is a good thing, but I have this vague feeling it raises my standing in the herd and improves my mating chances.

What is this "legitimacy" you speak of?

And no, you have to offer some sort of clever excuse to chain posts like that. I mean, you're supposed to at least pretend to be subtle about it. Maybe you can pretend you double posted or something.
