Is anyone else watching 24 this season?

MAN, does that show kick ass. It gets to the good stuff much faster than last season, where you had to watch like 6 episodes before you really got to find out what's going on. This season there's a "holy SHIT!" in every episode. Like the premiere where Jack freakin' shot that guy cold blood, and tonight when CTU blew up. AWESOME!

And is it just me, or does the casting director have some sort of blonde fetish? I mean, sure Kim Bauer is totally hot and I noticed they went out of their way to have her first scene be a "brushing her teeth...in a t-shirt and panties" deal so we could all remember how hot she is, but then you've got the really blonde mom, the little girl, the girl marrying the terrorist, her sister...

Everyone's a blonde! And not just sort of dirty-blonde quick hair job blonde, like SUPER blonde. Downright Swedish.

Yeah, and Kim's running a lot this year. Totally sweet.

The pace is better this year, but some of the subplots are more contrived, like Kim's deal and the wedding stuff. Hopefully that stuff will end up tying in real well. Right now I'm just, like, "way to play it cool, sister".

Not just blondes. I think the casting director likes really emaciated women. Kim isn't, but Bauer's wife first season, Nina Myers, soul patch man's new love interest, and both of the blonde sisters this season are.

I'm not sayin' they're ugly. Far from it. But most of 'em seem on the Callista Flockhart end of the scale (pun intended).

I was kinda hoping in the last episode Jack would find out Kim was not his daughter and their love would blossum in a whole new way.
