So it's official. Edwards is running mate. According to Republican media outlets he's just Kerry's "mate" but that's another story...

The democratic party making a smart choice for VP? Shocking. After Joseph "I will play well in the South and Midwest because people love Orthodox Jews" Lieberman, I wondered if the democrats were just waiting to sabotage Kerry's run.

Excellent choice.

Yup. This is very good news. Blunts Bush/Cheney on a number of points, and shores up Kerry nicely.

Once Bush falls 10 points behind in the polls how will he ever come back?

Edwards is a good choice, especially seeing how quickly the White House and RNC are jumping all over trying to backhand him.

I was holding out for Wesley Clark.

I think Osama would take him over the top for a while. They really need a deadly terrorist action to help them in the polls though.

I think Osama IS planning on taking Bush over the top. A nice September 11 reminder would do it. Bush inadvertently gives Osama more support than the Saudis do.

This administration is either incompetent idiots or they're diabolical geniuses. I'll pick the first one until I see some evidence otherwise.
