No, no, they're still there. We just have to arrange everything. Just imagine a big fat 'Under Construction' sign dangling over the site. Then imagine Chet in a construction worker's helmet. He's leaning into a jackhammer, hoisting a shovel, driving a bulldozer, and so forth. Now imagine Mark and me standing around and trying to look useful. That's pretty much what's going on.

With any luck, Sparky will be around shortly to, ahem, paint a picture for us.

Who knew Tom was an Ohio highway construction worker?

IMO Funniest radio guy comment ever: In response to any grief dished out by the sign holding guy..."Yeah, well you could be replaced by a bucket of sand!"

Sweet! As always, this was another great Shoot Club. It's helpful to have all the rules listed out. Ha, I didn't bring anything to eat when I visited. I broke a rule and didn't even know. Next time I'm in LA on Wednesday night, I’ll have to bring double portions. :)

It really is cool to have actually been to Shoot Club. If you’re from LA and a regular (or irregular) attendee, it probably feels different. For me it was the satisfaction you feel when you happen upon a place you’ve heard of, but weren't really expecting to see. It has to sort of just happen. Not sure if that makes sense, but it was like the first time I rode the subway into the Bronx. I got off the platform and all I could think of was that scene in the French Connection where that guy gets shot and tumbles down the stairs.

Does this mean we are going to see some new columns? If so, someday I will speak to my grandchildren about The Time of No Shoot Clubs. They will listen while politely hiding their laughter at the ramblings of an old man, not understanding that the legends are true.

Whoops. Is this an old Shoot Club? I thought it was new! I don't remember reading this one before.

Not just archived, but the very first. Can't believe you didn't remember that one, Tim.
